1. Cancellation Timeframe

Before Restaurant Confirmation: If you cancel before the restaurant has confirmed or started preparing your order, you’ll likely receive a full refund.

After Order Preparation Begins: If the restaurant has started preparing the food, the app may deduct a cancellation fee, or you might not receive any refund at all.

2. Cancellation Fees

Some apps charge a small cancellation fee if the restaurant or delivery partner has already started working on your order.

Fees vary depending on the app and location but are generally meant to compensate the restaurant and delivery driver.

3. How to Cancel

In-App Cancellation: allow cancellation for only food directly from the order details section. This option is only available if the restaurant hasn’t confirmed or till pending. Confirmed order don't have cancellation Option but always support live chat & customer support for cancellation any special reason 

Customer Support Assistance: If you can’t cancel within the app, contacting customer support may be an option, though they can’t always guarantee a refund.

4. Refund Process for Cancellations

Full Refunds: Cancellations made early (before order confirmation) usually qualify for a full refund.

Partial Refunds: If the order is in progress, some apps may offer partial refunds.

Timeframe: Refunds typically process within a few days but can vary depending on the payment method and app policies.
