These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application, website, and all services offered by us (“Services”).
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue using our Services immediately.


1. Introduction

Chotpot India Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a quick e-commerce and food delivery platform operating from Berhampore, Murshidabad. We strive to provide seamless ordering experiences, high-quality service, and local delivery support in rural and semi-urban areas.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between the user (“you” or “customer”) and Chotpot India Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

We operate through a network of vendors, delivery partners, and digital platforms to ensure smooth service delivery.


3. Services

Our Services include:

  • Displaying products, menus, and offerings from partner vendors

  • Allowing customers to place online orders

  • Facilitating payments

  • Assigning delivery partners to deliver products to users

  • Offering customer support in case of order issues

We act as a facilitator between customers and vendors. The responsibility for quality, availability, and preparation of goods (especially food items) lies with the respective vendor.


4. User Accounts

To use our Services:

  • You must create an account with accurate personal details

  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials

  • You must not share your account with others

  • Any activity from your account will be considered as performed by you

  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account usage

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate our policies.


5. Orders and Payments

5.1 Placing Orders

  • Orders can be placed exclusively through our official mobile app or website.

  • Once placed, orders cannot be modified.

5.2 Order Cancellation

  • You may cancel an order only while it is in the “Pending” stage.

  • Once an order is Confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded under any circumstances.

  • The app will automatically disable cancellation once the order is confirmed by the vendor and allocated to delivery.

5.3 Payments

  • Payments must be completed at the time of placing the order.

  • Available payment methods may include UPI, cards, wallets, net banking, and COD (if applicable).

  • In case of payment failure, the order will not be processed.

5.4 Pricing

  • All prices displayed at checkout are final.

  • Prices may change at any time due to vendor updates or platform adjustments.

  • Applicable taxes and delivery charges will be shown before final confirmation.


6. Delivery

6.1 Delivery Time

We make every effort to deliver your order within the estimated time shown on the app. Actual delivery time may vary due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • High order volume

  • Traffic or road conditions

  • Vendor preparation delay

  • Technical or logistical challenges

Chotpot shall not be held responsible for delays caused by external factors.

6.2 Delivery Charges

  • Delivery charges (if applicable) will be clearly highlighted during checkout.

  • Charges may vary depending on distance, time, surge demand, or promotional offers.

6.3 Failed Delivery

An order may be marked as "Delivered" without handover if:

  • The customer is unreachable

  • The delivery location is incorrect or inaccessible

  • The customer does not respond to calls during delivery

No refund will be issued in such cases.


7. Returns and Refunds

7.1 Food Orders

  • Food items are not eligible for return due to their perishable nature.

  • If you face issues such as wrong items, spoiled food, or order damage, you must contact customer support within 24 hours from delivery.

  • Refunds or compensation will be provided at the company’s discretion after investigation.

7.2 Non-Food Products

Returns for non-food items may be accepted under certain conditions such as:

  • Defective or damaged products

  • Incorrect items delivered

  • Missing items

Returns will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.


8. User Responsibilities

By using our Services, you agree to:

  • Respect delivery partners and customer service personnel

  • Not attempt to hack, interfere with, or disrupt the app

  • Not engage in fraudulent activities or false complaints
